One mic. One thought. One feeling.
Riccarda Greco invites you to tune in with à la Carte –
a podcast that sounds as honest as it feels.
A podcast that tastes as honest as it sounds – about life, beauty, and everything in between.
Riccarda Greco is far more than a fashion and beauty creator: she’s a host, a thinker, and an inspiration for a generation that doesn’t just want to be seen – but understood. On Instagram (@riccardagreco), she shares outfit inspiration, lifestyle moments, and her perspective on a world where self-discovery and aesthetics go hand in hand.
Her academic foundation in Journalism & PR, combined with her passion for genuine conversation, naturally led to her new podcast à la Carte – a format that shows as much depth as it does style. Riccarda invites us to step away from the feed and take a seat at the table for conversations about mental health, identity, creativity, social taboos, and real life in all its shades.
With humor, courage, and just the right amount of spice, she opens spaces where people don’t just talk – they’re truly heard. In our interview, she speaks about the role of social media in her life, the driving force behind à la Carte, the link between aesthetics and attitude – and how a great conversation emerges when authenticity, clarity, and curiosity meet..
WHAT ROLE DOES SOCIAL MEDIA PLAY IN YOUR LIFE?
It’s my main profession, so a big one. I genuinely love social media – it’s what made me realize how much I enjoy expressing myself creatively and bringing my own ideas to life. It’s also given me the chance to meet so many inspiring, wonderful people I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise.
WITH À LA CARTE, YOU’RE ABOUT TO LAUNCH YOUR OWN PODCAST – WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO CREATE THIS FORMAT?
I’ve always found the podcast format incredibly exciting. I studied Journalism & PR, and I’ve always loved hosting and leading conversations. I’m also one of those people who somehow ends up in deep talks way too quickly at parties – and that’s exactly where the idea came from. So for me, à la Carte felt like the natural next step: a place for meaningful conversations that still carry a sense of lightness and curiosity.
À LA CARTE IS ALL ABOUT HONEST CONVERSATIONS WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF “SPICE.” WHAT DOES A GOOD, GENUINE CONVERSATION MEAN TO YOU – AND WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SERVE YOUR LISTENERS THAT THEY MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU FROM SOCIAL MEDIA?
On social media, I tend to show a curated version of myself – mostly the beautiful moments, topics like beauty and fashion. The tougher sides, I consciously keep private. I’ve realized that separating the personal from the professional helps me stay grounded.
With à la Carte, I want to open up exactly that space where real, unfiltered conversations can happen. Moments that feel honest – like sitting around a table and just talking. I think many listeners will discover sides of me they haven’t really seen before: more spontaneous, more authentic, and a little closer.
YOUR PODCAST COMBINES AESTHETICS AND DEPTH. HOW IMPORTANT IS IT FOR YOU THAT SOMETHING IS ALSO COMMUNICATED VISUALLY – AND DO YOU THINK STYLE CAN EXPRESS ATTITUDE?
I believe aesthetics can carry emotion even before a single word is spoken. Style, to me, is a quiet but unmistakable form of attitude. With à la Carte, I want that to come through – visual calm, genuine depth, and an aesthetic that doesn’t strive for perfection, but for honesty.
WHICH THREE THINGS CAN ALWAYS BE FOUND IN YOUR BAG?
Lip gloss, phone, wired headphones.
LOOKING BACK ON YOUR LIFE, WHICH MOMENT CHANGED YOU THE MOST?
My semester abroad in Buenos Aires was definitely a defining time. Immersing myself in a new culture and a completely different environment taught me to trust myself – to listen to my intuition even when everything around me was unfamiliar. Since then, I’ve moved through life with much more confidence and inner calm.
DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE IN THREE WORDS.
Not exactly three words, but I’d say I’m part-time Adam Sandler, part-time Carrie Bradshaw – the best of both worlds.
IF YOU COULD GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF ONE PIECE OF ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I’d tell my younger self: trust yourself more – your first instinct is often the right one. Be brave, don’t let other people’s opinions hold you back, and try new things even if they’re imperfect. That’s how you grow, get to know yourself, and find your own path.
