Breakfast has long become more than just a quick start to the day — it has turned into a conscious decision.
That is exactly where Corridge positions itself: somewhere between functionality, routine, and lifestyle. The combination of classic porridge and functional collagen may sound simple at first glance, but it speaks directly to a generation that increasingly sees health as part of its identity.
One person who recognized this shift early on is Janna Ensthaler. As an investor focused on food-tech and future-oriented concepts, she is not interested in short-lived trends, but in products that can sustainably integrate into everyday life.
With formats such as Die Höhle der Löwen, Corridge quickly gained attention — not least because of a founding team that presented not only a product, but a clear vision. A vision that also convinced Ensthaler: functional nutrition that is not complicated, but intuitive.
With its new Daily Greens variety, the brand is now expanding its concept with a plant-based component — organic barley grass combined with collagen and a minimal, clean formula. A product intentionally positioned between nutrition, beauty, and longevity.
We spoke with Janna Ensthaler about why she decided to invest in Corridge — and why breakfast today is far more than just a meal.

What convinced you to invest in Corridge?
I’ve been active in food-tech investments for quite some time and I’m always looking for new concepts. The combination of high-quality collagen and porridge immediately caught my attention. At the same time, the founding team — a mother-daughter duo — completely convinced me. They presented their idea incredibly well on Die Höhle der Löwen. That combination of product and personality was ultimately what made me want to support their journey.
What role does Corridge play in your own daily routine — do you personally use the products regularly?
Yes, especially when I travel, I regularly take a portion of Corridge with me — sometimes also as a snack in between meals. My favorite flavor is banana because I still like to add fresh banana slices and a few additional supplements. I’ve also tried the company’s pure collagen product and I’m very impressed by it.
What sets Corridge apart from other products on the market?
The certified quality of the collagen, the oats used in the porridge, and all the additional ingredients is truly exceptional. And in terms of taste, the products are very well balanced.
Where do you see Corridge — and your role as an investor — in five years?
I’m confident that I’ll be able to support Corridge as it continues to grow. Another exciting space where Corridge is already being very well received is hotel buffets. Beyond online retail and traditional stores, there is still huge potential for expansion there. Personally, I want to continue investing in young, emerging start-ups and support founders in establishing themselves within their markets.
