Alizia Zuschlag
Honest, loyal, and loving
In a world where likes are often treated as a currency for success, she remains remarkably real: Alizia Zuschlag — content creator, dog mom, and a voice of a generation balancing self-fulfillment with digital pressure. Her words resonate because they are honest — about self-doubt, social media, values, and the power of love. In our conversation, she reveals why authenticity has become her key to happiness — and to sustainable success.
IS THERE A DREAM YOU DEFINITELY STILL WANT TO FULFILL?
One of my biggest dreams is to travel outside of Europe — to New York, Australia, or Japan. These countries fascinate me so much. So far, I’ve only traveled within Europe, and sometimes I catch myself putting pressure on myself, thinking that at 28 I haven’t really seen the world yet. Then I remind myself that my parents didn’t have the opportunity to travel until much later in life. We simply live in a very fast-paced world, and social media often creates a distorted image of what is considered “normal.”
WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST MOMENT ON YOUR JOURNEY AS A CONTENT CREATOR?
The moment I truly understood that authenticity is everything. You have to be yourself — that’s the key to long-term, sustainable success. Of course, business thinking, continued learning, and being aware of trends also play a role. But your values should always remain firmly rooted. This superficial social media world can easily make you doubt yourself — we creators are just as vulnerable to self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or comparison.
The biggest moment, therefore, was learning that I am enough just the way I am.
WHICH WOMEN INSPIRE YOU THE MOST — AND WHY?
First and foremost, my family — my grandmothers and my mom. They passed on values to me that are essential for a happy life, and for that I am incredibly grateful. Beyond that, I draw a lot of inspiration from podcasts — from women like Mel Robbins or Roxie Nafousi. I don’t have one fixed mentor, because I love taking small pieces of wisdom from different perspectives that help shape my own worldview. I think it’s important not to suggest that my path is the only right one — everyone should develop their own worldview, inspired by the voices that resonate with them.
WHAT GIVES YOUR LIFE THE MOST MEANING RIGHT NOW?
Definitely my dog. No matter how my day is going, he gives me a reason to get up every morning. Even on difficult days, he looks at me with his little button eyes, and suddenly I have energy again.
But my family also gives my life deep meaning. I’ve learned that it’s not a given to have people who are always there for you. In the end, the meaning of my life for me is love — for people, for animals, and for the things I love. Love is our birthright.
WHAT DOES THE PERFECT START TO YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
A cozy breakfast, a walk through the forest with my dog, followed by a matcha and a reformer Pilates class — that would be my perfect start. After that, I love days without fixed appointments, where I read a book, go for walks, cook something delicious, or go to the sauna. Simply time just for myself.
HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH PHASES WHEN MOTIVATION, SELF-LOVE, OR MENTAL HEALTH FEEL CHALLENGING?
My dog helps me immensely — I have to get up, I have to go outside, and that gives me structure. I also talk a lot about my feelings or write in my journal. I try to remind myself that every difficult phase will pass. When I notice worries coming up, I ask myself: Do I really need to worry right now, or is this just my mind? Often, the worst-case scenario never actually happens.
Then I rewrite my goals, bring structure back into my daily life, and practice breathwork or exercise to release tension from my body.
Words from Alizia:
I want to remind everyone how important it is to surround yourself with the right people. People influence our heartbeat, our cortisol levels, and even our success. One of the most important decisions in life is therefore who you choose to surround yourself with — because these people shape you.
If you surround yourself with people who believe in themselves, think positively, and inspire you, you will grow. If, on the other hand, you surround yourself with people who are negative, belittle others, or reject themselves, that energy can transfer to you as well.
So choose your environment wisely — it is the fertile ground for your energy, your dreams, and your self-image.
